Comprised of five (5) courses that start and finish in Dunkeld, at the southern end of the Gariwerd (Grampians) range. Accessible for both South Australians and Victorians alike, Peaks &Trails (P&T) is a highly inclusive race with distances to suit most runners. The lineup includes a beginner-friendly 6.4km event, 13.5km, 20km and the challenging 50km route, in addition to the Mud-Dadjug Challenge (previously Mt Abrupt Challenge), a brutal 6.2km return trip that climbs and descends 430m of technical rock and single track.
Established to promote the picturesque Dunkeld and showcase the stunning southern Grampians, Peaks & Trails is a true community event. You can get a feel for how the community feels about an event by looking at the supporting partners. For Peaks & Trails, the list includes an extensive list of local businesses and landowners and is 100% "volunteer-powered". Whether you're looking to explore the Southern Gramps' for their own sake or as part of a lead-up to a larger undertaking such as the Grampians Peaks Trail 100, P&T is well worth a visit.
