Danni Vanderheul
Country girl, mum to 2, from the bottom of South Australia.
Lover of all things outdoors! 6 years of competitive running, 21 podium finishes across multiple distances & representing Australia in 2023 WMTRC Austria -
Nicole Virant
I grew up as a casual runner which amped up to the marathon/ultramarathon distance during the Covid period. Living near the surf coast, I love to get out and explore the amazing trails along the coastline and love it even more when I get to share this experience with friends. I plan to use trail running as a way to explore various parts of Australia/world by competing on as many trails as possible.
Fun fact: I also have my 3rd dan black belt (well that was a long time ago, not sure what my skills are like now...) -
Penny Nevill
Active triathlete and back-to-back world champion in the sprint duathlon, I thrive on the challenges of competition and training alongside like-minded individuals. I love exploring breathtaking locations through my races, turning each event into a unique adventure while pushing my limits.

Started running when I was 7 doing a road race and triathlons. I then started trail running after being introduced to the Dandenong’s by dad on a hike, taking my brothers and I up dodds track. This ignited a spark and love for the mountains which led to my brother and I doing our first half marathon at the age of 12.
13 years later (now 20) I’m still running and loving every second of it and have even had the opportunity to represent Australia recently this year at the youth sky running champs in Montenegro. Running has always been a really awesome activity and in a way an escape as it’s just you and the mountains or bike track and there is just something very special about that
