About INOV8

INOV8 was founded in 2003 in the UK's Lake District. The first shoe, the Mudroc 290, was built for fell running and orienteering in some of the most demanding terrain in Britain. That heritage still defines the brand: footwear engineered for uncontrolled ground, where grip, fit, and ground feel decide the outcome.

Everything INOV8 makes is built on three things:

Size & Fit Guide

Getting the right fit matters with INOV8. The brand is built on NaturalFit, a fit platform applied across the range, not a single shoe shape.

NaturalFit locks the shoe at the heel and midfoot, then opens out at the toe box so your toes can splay naturally as you land and push off. Within that platform, INOV8 uses three widths, matched to terrain:

  • Precision — the most locked-down width. Built for off-trail, fast, and technical terrain where foot hold matters most.
  • Standard — the everyday width for trail and road running and longer efforts.
  • Wide — the most generous width, suited to gym training and hiking, or runners who want more toe-box room.
