The C1 is our super trainer, built to make every mile more fun. Its dual-layer midsole pairs a top layer of CircleCELL™ foam, crafted from sustainable materials, for responsive cushioning, over a rubberised base layer that adds support and stability underfoot.

A wider base and higher sidewalls keep you steady deep into long runs, while the TUNEDFIT™ dual lacing system lets you tune the forefoot and midfoot separately for a locked-in fit. Built for long-distance and multi-day efforts, recovery days and tempo runs alike.

Mount to Coast publish foot length separately for the men's and women's ranges, and the two differ by about 5 mm at the same EU size. Measure your foot, then read the foot length column for the range you are buying. If you are between sizes, choose the larger size for better comfort.

Measuring your foot

You will need a piece of paper that fits your foot and a writing instrument to mark your foot's length. Having someone to help you with this could also be beneficial.

  1. On a hard floor, put a piece of paper against a wall.
  2. Stand on the paper in socks you would normally wear with this type of shoe.
  3. Ensure the back of your heel is against the wall and that you're placing your weight evenly on your foot.
  4. Ask someone to make a mark on the paper at the end of your longest toe.
  5. Measure the distance from the edge of the paper that touched the wall where your heel was to the mark at your longest toe. That is the length of your foot.
  6. Repeat this process on your other foot.
  7. It's common to have one foot bigger than the other, so make sure you measure both feet. Pick your shoe size based on the length of your longer foot.

The Features You Will Really Love About The

C1 Womens

The top bragworthy features

The super trainer, energized.

The C1 features a dual layer midsole, utilizing a generous layer of our sustainable CircleCELL foam above a rubberized EVA bottom layer that provides the stability you need to go beyond. CircleCELL is the same supercritical foam used in our award-winning H1, delivering energy return on par with PEBA-based foams, while providing double PEBA's running lifespan.

Stability, elevation, enlightenment.

Despite its wide, stable stance and dual-layer midsole, the C1 comes in at a feathery 9.4 oz / 267 g (US M9), because long distance performance shouldn't weigh you down. Featuring a 42 mm stack height and 6 mm drop, the C1 is optimized to let you push your limits of speed and distance in training, so that race day comes easy.

Tune in, don't drop out.

The TUNEDFIT Dual Lacing System offers separately customizable fit for the forefoot and midfoot. Because we know that in the ultrarunner's pursuit of distance, feet can swell and change shape, and having a shoe that can adapt to those changes on the fly can be the difference between minor discomfort and injury.

Why Mount to Coast shoes?

THE TECHNOLOGY

With Mount to Coast's own biomechanics lab they integrate innovative midsole materials inspired from various industries to engineer running shoes that offer exceptional comfort, support, energy return and durability for enduring the most extensive distances.

  • The TUNEDFIT™ Dual Lacing System offers a separately customizable fit for the forefoot and midfoot. Even if your feet swell in the pursuit of distance, you can still relax and enjoy the ride.

  • ZeroSag™ is a groundbreaking midsole insert co-developed with BASF. Originally used in the suspension systems of race cars, it guarantees extraordinary cushioning on the longest runs.

  • CircleCELL™ is the first high performance midsole material to be made of 100% renewable feedstock, including recycled organic waste. Through Mount to Coast's state-of-the-art supercritical foaming, CircleCELL™ offers PEBA-level energy return with almost double PEBA's running lifespan.

  • 3D Archrail™ is our revolutionary flexible support structure designed to manage complaints related to overpronation, enhance stability, and focus on forefoot alignment.

  • LightCELL™, Mount to Coast's proprietary midsole base material is a nitrogen-infused supercritical foam that is 50 percent lighter than EVA, while offering 45 percent more energy return.

  • GOFLOW™ is Mount to Coasts research-backed, industry-leading midsole geometry, designed to provide extra support to let you experience the natural, seamless flow from heel to toe.

  • VersaGrip™ is Mount to Coasts proprietary outsole technology engineered to deliver exceptional traction, grip, and durability across all terrains. Designed for your longest journeys, it guarantees optimal performance on every surface you encounter.
